You will have: NVQ level in care or working towards this level, to be achieved within months in post (Essential)Have experience in delivering frontline care including mental health supportExperience of identifying and co-ordinating a range of services to meet an individual’s needs to enable them to engage with community services and activitiesWorking knowledge of a range of practical and procedural processes in relation to care provision including: Care systems and procedures, Care programmes, Health & Safety and Risk AssessmentsUnderstand the concept of Recovery and apply those principles to develop an environment and service that enhances recovery A good understanding of mental health issues and how they affect peopleRespond appropriately to a range of emotions or behaviours displayed by service users which may be emotionally challenging.
