Step Teachers are working with a school located in Suffolk that is looking for a Flexible English Teacher doesn’t mind doing a bit of History, Drama &; tech but Mainly English to start in January 2025 in a long-term or Perm Position . Under the former Ofsted rating for schools, this ‘Good’ Secondary School where students benefit from a positive and supportive learning environment.
English Teacher - Role:
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 English Language and English Literature curriculum
- Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and associated resources
- Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school
- Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them progress
- Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
- Compliance with the school's policies and reliable implementation of these
English Teacher - Requirements:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
- Have recent mainstream school-based experience as an English Teacher at a secondary school level
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
- A relevant English-related degree is desirable
- Flexibility to teach other subjects like History, Drama and Tech
