The RoleThe Controls Engineer designs, estimates plans and controls individual projectsControl Panel Hardware DesignSoftware design, programming, fault finding of control solutions for bespoke and standard productsDemonstration of fully functioning controls system in factory & site environmentsDesign AuthorityProject planning and capital equipment procurementContract review to ensure schedule, technical and commercialsProduce Sequence of Operations, controls schematic and initial design submissionsAttend design meetings with client and internal Project Manager as and when requiredSite commissioning of controls aspect of overall projectOrganise & produce CAD drawings using proprietary design softwarePrepare production BoM’sAssist in preparation of O&M manualsHours: 38 hours, flexible working between -YouExperienced Controls Engineer, Electrical Controls Engineer, Electrical Design EngineerControl panel hardware design experienceSoftware design in Tridium or Corel or Mitsubishi or SiemensControls/Electrical HNCAutoCAD experienceDriving licence preferredBenefits PackageSalary around £55K25 days holiday + bank holidayComprehensive benefits packageCareer progression This is a long-term career opportunity to join a well-run company with great leadership.
