Job descriptionA well-established, highly recognised fenestration and curtain walling company based in Swansea.CSA are looking for an experienced designer with a Façade background to work for a well-established and highly recognised company based in Swansea.THE ROLEThe suitable candidate will have great customer service experience as they will be working closely alongside clients to discuss technical queries and cost-effective design proposals via telephone and email. They will need to be proficient in AutoCAD and any practical experience working with Revit or BIM. They will have proven industry experience and a good understating of the building regulations and BS standards relating to the design and workings of window, door, and curtain-walling systems.ABOUT YOUBe able to produce high end technical drawings and AutoCAD design proposalsHave a good eye for detail and accuracyBe able to work diligently alone and within a well-established design teamBe able to confidently read and understand Technical drawingsAnswer technical design queries from client, the company’s sales team & installers.Attend internal and external meetings to discuss client requirementsPrevious work experience of using AutoCAD (essential) and REVITMUST have knowledge of curtain walling, window, door & Structural Glazing designGood understanding of building construction, methods & regulationsPrevious experience working with clients and architects via telephone and emailMinimum of 2-3 Years’ Experience in Façade DesignHOURS OF WORKMonday – Thursday (07:30am – 16:30pm) Friday (07:30am – 13:30pm).BENEFITSStarting Salary in line with experience.20 days’ holiday + Bank HolidaysGovernment pension schemeJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSchedule:Monday to FridayNo weekendsAbility to commute/relocate:Swansea, Swansea: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:AutoCAD: 1 year (required)Work Location: In person
