We are now recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join our facilities department. You will be responsible for the upkeep of all buildings and surrounding infrastructure. Carrying out all planned and reactive maintenance work, to retain the upkeep of the site and associated Allied properties. The main duties of the role: · Plumbing: To resolve basic problems e.g., unlocking and repairing leaks · Electrical: Replacing bulbs, replacing plugs · Decorating: Paining walls and ceilings, touching up skirting boards and door frames · Repairs and Maintenance: Basic DIY · Gardening: Mowing lawns, trimming hedges, bushes, and trees, weeding, watering flower beds and pressure washing · General Labouring: Waste management, litter picking, collecting, and delivering. Winter management i.e., gritting etc. To be effective in this role, you will be skilled in the use of tools in relation to drilling, painting, basic repairs & general DIY. A good level of general property maintenance and horticultural skills would be advantageous. A Driving licence is essential for this role. Hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm and the salary is £14 per hour. This position offers a superb opportunity to join a progressive and committed company.
