In doing so, we strive to create a better, safer and more sustainable world.ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY The successful candidate will work as part of a team of dedicated professionals responsible for the setup, configuration and ongoing support of KBR’s supply chain systems on a variety of projects across the globe. The role is best suited for an individual that enjoys an element of variety in their working life. With the ability to adapt challenges on projects and turn them into process and or / systems improvements whilst ensuring compliance with the company’s global policies and procedures. This is an exciting opportunity will see the candidate working closely with all key stakeholder’s and department leads on the project. The ability to interact and communicate with internal and external customers and clients is essential to establish effective transfer of data though the systems to enable the delivery of projects. The candidate would be responsible for the design, development and deployment of key reports for use by all project and corporately. The ability to analyse data and report findings in a clear and understandable manner is key.KBR uses both bespoke and commercial off the shelf (COTS) systems – experience in the administration and configuration of some of the below COTS application would be advantageous: SharePoint (Cloud)SharePoint Workflow / NintexSAPOracle Database (SQL for data extraction) SSRS / Power BIPowerApps Here is what you will be doing:Setup – Work with inhouse IT (Information Technology) teams to bring the required system(s) online to meet project schedule and requirements.Configuration – Assess the project requirements and configure the systems in a way that will deliver success on the project. Ad-hoc client needs, and project risks need to be identified and addressed.Support – Day to day support and administration activities for both internal and external users of the systems. This support role includes the ability to write clear and concise user guilds / job aids and conduct training sessions on an individual or group level.Reporting – Work with the project(s) to ascertain their specific reporting requirements. Develop and deploy live and interactive reporting through SSRS and / or Power BI.Functional Support / Development – Where required, work with inhouse IT teams to define functional requirements for development / modification of the internal systems to address project specific requirements.Interface Development – EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) projects require large volumes of data to be exchanged between parties. You will be required to identify scenarios where automated interfacing would be advantageous.Working with various teams to advance reporting capability, including sourcing new data sets and implementing new measurement techniques.WHAT YOU’LL BRING (EXPERIENCE & BEHAVIOURS) Demonstrates good working knowledge of IT technologies.Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and an understanding of Access or similar.Proven record of accomplishment of systems support / implementation.Proven record of accomplishment of business reporting and report writing credentials.Technical expertise in at least 2 of the following: SSRS, Power BI, SQL (Oracle or MS SQL-Server)Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.Skilled in translating and explaining complex data problems in easily understood, clear and concise terms.Strong presentation skills and comfortable presenting.Ability to understand both the bigger picture as well as individual tasks.Forward thinking, receptive to innovative ideas and suggestions, flexible, and able to look beyond the current way of doing things.Ability to work across multiple initiatives adjusting to shifting priorities.Dedicated team player and role model, capable of gaining trust and support of team and customers.Proactive and able to work under own initiative.Solid work ethic with attention to detail.Organised – ability to plan, prioritise and delegate where requiredHERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED (QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS): BSc in related subject OR equivalent experience.Oracle and SQL Server Database technologies including a high proficiency in SQL.An understanding of typical supply chain processes.Proven experience working with data reporting tools, ideally MS SSRS or Power BI.DESIRABLE/PREFERRED A background in Supply Chain would be advantageous.A background in EPC project in the Energy sector.KBR Company InformationWhen you become part of the KBR team, your opportunities are endless.
