Production Manager

If this is you then please do read on!!The company in Dukinfield are looking for someone who will be reporting directly to and supporting the Managing Director in co-ordinating the day-to-day operation of the factory teams and providing full compliance responsibility. As the Production Manager with IOSH, your role will include: * Forecasting/reordering/resourcing of materials. * Oversee induction and training of new production personnel and to coordinate training matrix throughout departments.* Responsibility for Health and Safety across all departments.* Plan/carry out an annual programme of internal and external audits.* Carry out regular checks, assessments, and internal audits.* Driving standards and monitoring quality controls to reduce issues and delays.* Hands on involvement in supporting day to day running of a production department. * Manage servicing and maintenance for all equipment. To be successful with this Production Manager IOSH position, we need you to have the following:* Experience of health and safety essential, preferably with IBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management.* Highly organised with strong administrative and communication skills.* Have previous experience of and demonstrate strong negotiation and administrative skills.* Previous experience of a production environment preferably in a supervisory capacity.* Able to work very closely with the Managing Director* Excellent communication skills* Computer literate This unique position of Production Manager with IOSH will provide you with:* £40000.00 minimum* 0800 - 1630 hours Monday to Friday* Permanent Position from day 1* Parking* Full Training on systems There is definite potential for the role to develop further in supporting the Managing Director within the administration and coordination of the production departments.
