Allied Mobility is a division of the Allied Vehicles Group. We are the leading Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles specialist for the UK and Ireland. We supply a wide range of wheelchair cars, MPVs and minibus conversions. As a Motability partner, we offer a unique selection of wheelchair cars to private individuals and families. Our larger wheelchair access vehicles are also popular with social and community transport providers. Due to business growth, we are now recruiting for a Valeter to join our Coventry Sales Team. You will carry out those duties allied to the processing and delivery of vehicles in a clean and acceptable condition subsequent to completion of repair work. The main duties of the role are: Ascertain job requirements from the job card/estimate To record all times within the workplace To drive vehicles in a safe and lawful manner Report any vehicle faults to the supervisor Clean vehicles in line with Company standards with the appropriate materials Handle any customer facing situations in a professional manner Comply with all legislation respecting control of hazardous substances and control of organic solvents Complete Quality Checks on completed vehicles To be effective in this role, you will have previous experience in Valeting and be able to plan and organise your workload. A driving licence would be essential. Hours of work are Tuesday – Saturday, 8am – 4.30pm and the salary is £11 per hour.
