Menzies Distribtuion are looking to recruit a Returns Stock Operative based from our Normanton depot, which moves in excess of 15,000 pallets per week. As Returns Operative, your role will be to provide accurate and prompt processing of the depot warehouse goods, with a manual “hands on” approach. As well as this the role requirements are to complete various warehouse tasks, as safely, accurately and as efficiently as possible upholding the highest standards of health and safety at all times.

The Details:

  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
  • Salary: £23,169 Per Annum
  • Hours: 07:00-15:00. 37.5 hours per week.
  • Location: Normanton, WF2 
  • Monthly Pay
  • Free Parking Onsite
  • Holding a PPT Licence is desirable.
  • Return Stock Operative Duties:

  • Co-operate fully with the sites safety requirements.
  • Receive deliveries of returned customer stock from trailers into warehouse.
  • Check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork
  • Manual handling of products
  • Signing for and accepting responsibility for tasks that have been completed.
  • Housekeeping, both physical completion and hygiene checks.
  • Stock integrity and quality checks.
  • Keep warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear and litter removal.
  • Routine PI cycle counts
  • Stock Investigations
  • Liaising with customers via email / telephone
