Masterplanning. Urbanism. (LMU) team are looking for a Landscape Architect to come join our growing team, which consists of 70+ people offering the full spectrum of Landscape Architecture, Masterplanning and Urban Design services. The services range from Masterplanning, urban regeneration, strategic planning, design concept through to detail and implementation as well as Environmental Assessment and LVIA. As part of our Environmental team, youll help improve quality of life. With your specialism in environmental management, or your technical or sustainability expertise, your work could involve protected species, pollution, surface water and materials management, air quality or noise. And in some of the worlds busiest and most beautiful locations.We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. Around the world, were feeling the effects climate change, rapid urbanization, loss of biodiversity. The rate at which were seeing large-scale, unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires, is becoming more frequent. We are here to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations.Role accountabilities:As part of our team you will have a strong focus on infrastructure led projects in tandem with master planning and urban design projects UK wide.You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including our in-house disciplines and high-profile designers as well as our sector leading external partners. Youll have the opportunity to work on some of the UKs largest, most complex and technically demanding projects. These currently include major large-scale Masterplans, City Centre public realm Regeneration projects, Green Infrastructure strategies and Landscape Masterplanning for some of the UKs largest residential and mixed-use developments as well as significant infrastructure projects such as: Perry Barr Regeneration Development Glasgow Neighbourhoods Westerhill Masterplan Various Future High Street Fund projects and Town Investment Funds Northstowe Masterplan / Urban extension Otterpool Park Garden Settlement Rochdale Canal and various other Projects (Canal and River Trust) High Speed Rail 2 Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) such as Lower Thames Crossing. However, not all of our projects are large scale. We have equally exciting smaller projects and, together, present a rich and varied portfolio of projects and clients including at national and local levels, and in both the private and public sector. And whilst each Arcadian brings their own perspective, we are united by a passion for sustainability, collaboration and a desire to solve the most complex challenges our world faces.Qualifications & Experience: Experience working as a Landscape Architect on small to large-scale Masterplans (residential and mixed-use developments), City Centre public realm Regeneration projects, Green Infrastructure strategies, and/or Experience working on significant infrastructure projects, and/or Experience working on landscape planning and assessment projects Aim to start P2C with the Landscape Institute Good hand-drawing and graphic skills Proficient AutoCAD and Adobe user Desired: Revit and/or 3d Sketchup, Modelling tools Driving Licence Degree/Diploma in Landscape Architecture or closely related subject
