Many people within Credit Hire have had the opportunity to be promoted into management and operational positions and/or develop as technical specialists. We have several routes on progression, from Training contracts, Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship and pathways in becoming a Team Leader or Manager. All our Trainee Solicitor routes are only offered internally and the firm offered a total of 33 Trainee Solicitor pathways in 2023/2024, 15% of those are within our Credit Hire department. Above all the firm values potential, if you are inquisitive, hardworking and passionate about achieving great results, HF is a great place to develop your career. What do I need?   Ideally, you will have 12 months' experience of credit hire file handling or have worked in the insurance industry. We will consider applications from Law Graduate if you have a particular interest in Credit Hire Litigation.Whilst experience and qualifications are desirable, above all we hire based on potential so, if you are enthusiastic and want to learn and develop within an exciting and niche area of law, we are able to offer you the training to succeed. You will need to bring an enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude with a desire to achieve and exceed targets combined with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to demonstrate initiative and creative problem solving is desirable. We would like to see a strong work ethic and a committed team player. We are a close knit and stable team that like to share ideas and experience with a view to achieving the best results that we can for our Clients. What will you be doing?        You will predominantly be handling your own case load of litigated delegated authority small and/or fast track claims (dependant on experience). In addition, the team deals with some of the highest value and most technically complex credit hire cases with some exceeding £50K. These can include appeals, credit hire fraud and strategic litigation; so, the role represents a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to high quality and challenging work.
