Business Development Manager – Real Estate - Law Firm
12-14 Month FTC | £75k | London (Hybrid)

My client is seeking a proactive and experienced BD Manager to step into a 12-14 month maternity cover role, working within their dynamic and collaborative Real Estate team. What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in shaping the team’s BD strategy, helping them build strong relationships and make their mark in the Real Estate sector. Here’s a snapshot of what your day-to-day might look like:
- Partnering with stakeholders to strengthen client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
- Creating engaging pitch documents and presentations to win new business.
- Keeping on top of market trends, legislation, and client priorities to provide informed recommendations.
- Coordinating and hosting events, webinars, and other opportunities to showcase expertise.
- Crafting compelling marketing campaigns that hit the mark with clients and prospects.
- Preparing standout legal directory submissions to keep the team’s rankings sky-high.
- Supporting budget planning and tracking spend on BD activities.
- Managing and improving BD systems like the client relationship management software and credentials database.
This role has variety, ownership, and the chance to make a real difference.

- BD/Marketing experience in a law firm (supporting a Real Estate team is a big bonus!).

- A proactive approach – you’re always looking for ways to improve processes and make things run smoothly.
- Confidence juggling multiple priorities while keeping cool under pressure.
