Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable qualified Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor) to join our caring and progressive Health Visiting service, in an exciting new role as Team Manager leading the Central Access Team.The Central Access Team (CAT) is part of the KCHFT Health Visiting 0-4 Service, which provides a central co-ordination point for all Health Visiting District Teams to support achievement of key performance indicators. The CAT is the central point of contact for families and partner agencies engaging with our service. The CAT provides delivery of the following services Let's Chat 0-5, Central Advice and Support Line and Central Safeguarding Hub.As the CAT Team Manager, you will provide the leadership and management for the clinicians and administrative colleagues working within the CAT, ensuring they deliver a high-quality service as outlined in the CAT Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and in accordance with clinical governance framework. Main duties of the job As the CAT Team Manager you will provide in-depth analysis of data, collate monthly data reports to present at governance meetings, undertake specific audits and support the supervision of the Practitioners ensuring best practice is adhered to while supporting the ongoing development and transformation of the CAT. You will monitor clinical practice which requires you to have specialist, in-depth clinical and RiO knowledge. Additionally you will work clinically covering Let's Chat 0-5, Central Advice and Support Line or Central Safeguarding Hub. Person Specification Qualifications Essential Specialist Community Public Health Nurse qualification - Health Visitor Desirable Management or supervisory qualification / programme of study Qualifications Essential Current NMC registration Experience Essential Minimum of 3 years' experience in Health Visiting Desirable Experience with the use of Microsoft Office and a variety of IT packages (E-Pay / E-roster/ TAPS/ RiO) Experience Essential Practical experience in managing health related projects/complex caseloads Experience Essential Supporting others (mentor / educator / supervisor ) experience Knowledge Essential Understanding of National Service Frameworks and NICE guidance to relevant to care setting and its application across health care services
