Transport Manager

Transport Manager  Reneco Haulage is currently looking for an experienced Transport Manager to lead our transport operations. Based in Rushden, Northamptonshire the ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of transport management, ensuring that our operational processes are run effectively and compliantly. Who are we? RenEco Haulage runs a large fleet of vehicles that transports multiple waste streams of organic materials. As part of the RenEco group of companies RenEco Haulage is integral in servicing our own internal customer base to ensure the effective transportation of feedstock for material processing. What you will do within the position • Lead a team of transportation staff, including HGV drivers and administration colleagues, to develop and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. • Oversee daily transportation operations, ensure timely collections and deliveries. • Ensure compliance with all Company policies and transportation laws and regulations • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective teamwork to deliver on business objectives and service delivery. • Analyse data relating to transport to identify areas of improvement. • All aspects of people management including development, monitoring employee performance, employee relations and wellbeing, potentially assisting other departments as well as your own team. • Ensure drivers are fully compliant with regards to driver hours, health and safety, vehicle road worthiness, CPC training tachograph management. • Ensure you are up to date with legislative changes, industry trends, advancements in technology and best practices. What you will need • Experience within a transportation management role ideally either within the waste/recycling or aggregate industry • Extensive knowledge of haulage regulations and law • Transport Manager CPC  • Excellent communication, organization and time management skills • Extensive people management skills and the ability to coach, mentor and develop colleagues What RenEco Haulage can offer you • Starting amount £55,000.00 plus depending on experience • Fully financed company vehicle • Life assurance • Healthcare benefit scheme • Employee assistant program
