Job Description We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Care Professional with specialised experience in supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, person-centred care, assisting clients in achieving their goals and enhancing their quality of life. This role involves working closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure tailored support that addresses physical, cognitive, and emotional needs. Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one care and support to individuals with acquired brain injuries. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and nutrition. Implement rehabilitation and therapy programmes in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Monitor and document progress, reporting any changes to the care team. Support clients in accessing social, recreational, and vocational activities to promote independence. Communicate effectively with families, carers, and medical professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for clients. Driving licence and a reliable car is essential for this role in the community Caregiving role you need to have a passion for supporting others, be reliable and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. Qualifications Training includes a full induction programme will be provided where we provide award-winning training including care certificates, and specific training. Essential Requirements Proven experience in supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries. Strong understanding of the physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges associated with ABI. Ability to develop and follow personalised care and rehabilitation plans. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and the ability to work calmly under pressure. A commitment to promoting dignity, independence, and well-being. A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (if required).
