Process Safety Manager

We are currently engaged with a leading chemical manufacturing organization focused heavily on sustainability and manufacturing safety and protection products. They are in search of a Process Safety Manager to take responsibility for the process safety and technical plant engineering of one of their highly visible and transformational sites in the UK. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and driven technical expert with a safety background and a proven track record in transforming the safety culture of a site. They should also have management experience. The ideal candidate is highly communicative, technically strong in the chemical space, and passionate about sustainability. This person must be prepared to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to help promote change on the site. As a member of the organizations strategic leadership team, this person will have the chance to work with multiple teams to create impactful changes. Essential Functions: Educational and professional experience in Chemicals Safety expert – creating and implementing new protocols and compliance Management experience of Process Engineers Be a trusted partner and resource to senior leadership. Gain the trust of individuals and collaborate across all functions. Demonstrate a systematic, analytical, precise, and organized approach in alignment with the company’s values Passion for sustainability and building a better future for our world.
