Description

  • Direct and manage all audit operations within the firm
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance audit procedures
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of professional services industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Ensure all audit activities align with company policies and objectives
  • Oversee the preparation of audit reports and financial statements
  • Manage relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction

Profile

A successful Audit Director should have:

  • A recognised professional qualification in Accounting or a related field
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • A thorough understanding of auditing processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
