People come to Cleo to do work that matters. Every day, we empower people to build a life beyond their next paycheck, building a beloved AI that enables you to forge your own path toward financial well-being. Backed by some of the most well-known investors in tech, we’ve reached millions of people to support them throughout their financial lives, from their first paycheck to their first home and beyond. We're hitting headlines too. This year, Forbes named us as one of their Next Billion Dollar Startups, and we were crowned the 'Hottest Tech Scaleup' at the Europas. You will be the Lead Product Analyst in our payments collections team, leveraging data to chart the path to net profitability at one of the UK’s fastest growing startups. You will play an instrumental role in defining and prioritising the team’s long term and short term roadmaps to build a best-in-class payments processing engine. Initially, you will help define and own the key metrics which measure the efficiency of our payments engine. Using these metrics, you will identify opportunities to optimise when and how we take payments while balancing revenue and the cost of payments. This is a unique opportunity to maximise profitability. Your work will soon grow beyond this brief into broader matters of company performance. You’ll also sit within the wider data function here at Cleo; a hotshot chapter of 60 Machine Learning Engineers, Product Analysts, and Analytic Engineers with significant industry experience who are at the heart of everything we do at Cleo. Responsibilities
Conduct deep-dive analysis of the payments ecosystem to identify the highest impact areas for growth. Dig deep into our user behaviour and payments data to conduct root cause analysis on unexpected metric movements. Define key payments-related metrics and track KPIs to assess the efficiency of our payments platform. Conduct regular A/B tests and causal analyses to determine the impact of product changes on success metrics. Work with Analytics Engineering to prioritise data modelling needs in your area as well as directly contributing to our transformed data codebase. About you
