Night Shift Warehouse Manager C36k + Benefits Suffolk Our client is a niche FMCG distributor in the UK, and we are delighted to assist them in their search for a Night Shift Warehouse Manager at their RDC in Needham Market, Suffolk on a Sunday - Thursday 42.5 hour week on the following basis: Sunday – Midnight to 5.30am Tuesday to Wednesday - 9pm to 6am Thursday - 8pm to 6am This challenging and interesting role will appeal to an individual with experience in managing a Warehouse team, who is passionate about delivering quality service to internal and external customers and has an understanding of Continuous Improvement Strategies. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for: Leading and managing the Night Team to deliver customer orders on time and in the most cost-effective manner. Being prepared to do hands-on work within the warehouse. Completing all tasks required throughout the night shift including taking and inputting customer orders by voicemail, picking, replenishing stock, and loading vehicles. Driving Operational KPIs within your team including team and individual performance, health and safety, quality, accuracy, and customer service. Developing relationships and working in collaboration with other departments to ensure a joined-up delivery of operational requirements. Being responsible for the opening and/or closing of the warehouse on a daily basis. Ensuring training within your team is completed to health and safety standards and company procedures. Supporting the Operations Manager to develop a Continuous Improvement culture within the department and implement new processes. Assisting with resolving employee concerns and maintaining open lines of communication with all levels. Ideal person for Night Shift Warehouse Manager: From a fast-paced, FMCG environment, ideally multi-temperature but not essential. Previous experience of working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS). An excellent People leader with a proven track record of delivering results. Strong Customer Service ethos.
