Becoming a proud creator of the exceptional starts here. WHAT TO EXPECT Bring your unique talents to JLR's Accounting team. As a Senior VAT Analyst, you will be dedicated to fulfilling all aspects of VAT reporting, VAT refund claims, and VAT accounting processes for any VAT returns deemed to be in scope of the Central VAT Team. Working with and supervising an offshore team, you will assist in providing VAT advisory and policy services to all areas of JLR. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Ensure return processes are carried out to a high degree of accuracy, understood, and documented. Compile monthly VAT information and data from JLR sales subsidiaries and report to JLR group auditors on data. Ensure VAT correctness of all return transactions, helping to define appropriate transactional checks/controls, and support the team in applying investigative techniques to transactions. Support/carry out root cause resolution of any compliance reporting issues or errors identified during the process. Assist VAT advisory managers in monitoring industry policy, Tax Authority policy, and legislative VAT developments. WHAT YOU'LL NEED Previous experience in Finance and accounting systems. Previous experience in reviewing VAT returns. Sound understanding of VAT principles. Proven ability to develop processes. Proven understanding of reconciliations and financial postings.
