What you'll do:
As a Finance Business Partner, you will be instrumental in supporting the business during a transformative period. You will work closely with various stakeholders, providing valuable financial insights that will guide decision-making processes. Your responsibilities will include identifying financial risks and opportunities, preparing budgets and forecasts, and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. Your ability to interpret data under tight deadlines will be crucial for meeting funding and operational targets.
Support the business through a significant period of change
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support and influence decision-making processes
Identify financial risks and opportunities
Prepare budgets and forecasts
Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders within the organisation and across Local Authorities
Interpret data (both written and numerical) while working to tight deadlines
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Business Partner role is a fully qualified accountant with business partnering experience. You have previously worked successfully with both Finance and Non-Finance stakeholders, demonstrating your strong communication skills. Your analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills set you apart from others. You are comfortable interpreting data (both written and numerical), even under pressure or tight deadlines.
