Cambridge About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Security Engineer to join a dynamic service division within a leading organisation known for providing sophisticated integrated systems. As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing a range of high-tech security and management systems, ensuring client satisfaction and technical excellence. Key Responsibilities: Perform first-line reactive service and routine maintenance on a wide array of multi-disciplined systems, including but not limited to CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Detection, and Integrated Management Systems. Assist with commissioning and installation support for project works as necessary. Adhere to organisational procedures and system specifications while maintaining a high standard of quality and customer service during all site visits. Participate in standby and call-out rotations as required. Candidate Requirements: Strong educational background, ideally with qualifications in the electrical or electronic field, or equivalent knowledge through experience. Proven field service experience and a solid understanding of customer service principles. Proficient IT skills. Hold relevant certifications such as IPAF, ECS, CSCS, or other safety-related qualifications (preferred). Valid UK driving license. Personal Qualities: Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work. Excellent communication skills, capable of negotiating and persuading effectively. Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing environments. Strong organisational skills and reliability. What We Offer: Competitive salary based on a 39-hour workweek, with a range up to GBP40k, depending on experience. On-target earnings of GBP55k+ per annum, including additional standby payments and attractive overtime rates. Choice of company vehicle (unbranded).
