As the Head of Data Governance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of our client's data. You will lead a team of talented data professionals and be responsible for the following: Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework and strategy aligned with the organisation's goals and objectives. Define and enforce data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable data across the organisation. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to establish data management best practices, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards. Drive the adoption of data governance practices and provide guidance and support to business units in implementing data governance initiatives. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to data governance policies. Lead and manage a team of data governance professionals, providing coaching and mentoring to foster a high-performing and cohesive team. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data governance, ensuring the organisation is equipped with the latest tools and practices. Candidate Requirements Demonstrable experience in leading implementation of data governance frameworks and data quality processes with a global organisation. A strategic thinker with the ability to lead data governance on a global scale, encouraging new and innovative solutions to drive data governance and management efforts. Significant experience in ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems. Extensive experience with a variety of reporting and analytical tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SAS. Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop, engage and manage working relationships with key stakeholders on a global scale and from diverse business functions. Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment. Experience in chairing forums and encouraging shared learning and solutions with the ability to translate complex technical information.
