Lead Product Engineer (Full Stack, React Native) Anoto is hiring a lead product engineer to set the standard and the pace for the ongoing development of our just-launched React Native app, LivePen. We’re a small, friendly, and ambitious team of talented people bringing unique connected products to market. This will be a challenging and rewarding role with huge opportunities for growth! This is a unique opportunity to take the lead on a new app that has already been built to a very high standard of quality. Our React Native app is written in TypeScript using a high-performance, functional programming architecture, and has been built from the ground up with very good unit test coverage. We believe we can move fastest by staying free of avoidable tech debt. We want to hire someone for this role who’s passionate about both quality and delivering a great user experience. This is a full-time, fully remote role, with time zones UTC-3 to UTC+1 preferred (that’s roughly Western Europe, Central Europe, and most of South America) - we will also consider exceptional candidates through UTC-5 (US Eastern time). The lead product engineer will report to our CTO. Responsibilities Set and enforce code, testing, and architectural quality standards, in collaboration with our CTO Collaborate closely with the Head of Software Product as well as the hardware and commercial teams to solve a variety of customer problems in an optimal way Design and implement end-to-end features and architectures for React Native, TypeScript, NodeJS and various AWS and AI services Work with the app’s Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) interface using

required) Maintain and implement and a variety of high-value features for our users Contribute to the improvement of software development and business processes Directly managing other software engineers is an optional possibility for this role depending on your goals and interests Requirements Ambitious - you’ll be joining a high-achieving team that moves fast and is excited to serve our customers and grow our business Nice - this role will require a lot of collaboration and it’s important to us that everyone on the team treats everyone else well Care for customers - you should be excited to deliver exceptional user experiences that delight our customers Comfortable with ambiguity - able to work with stakeholders, ask the right questions, and figure out highly effective solutions to complex problems 7+ years overall full stack, customer-facing development experience 3+ years professional experience with React and/or React Native in a functional programming paradigm 2+ years experience developing libraries (open or closed source) Computer science degree strongly preferred
