Bridge Vets in Aberdeen is seeking an experienced and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated and supportive team! This is a fantastic opportunity to work across our four well-established practices in the Aberdeen area, delivering high-quality care to a diverse range of patients. In this role, your day-to-day will include a balanced mix of consulting and surgical duties, offering variety and the chance to broaden your expertise. While you’ll be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team, there will also be times when sole charge is required, so confidence in independent decision-making is essential. We are committed to providing an excellent work/life balance for our team. This position offers flexibility with 40 hours per week, working 4 or 5 days between 8 am and 7 pm, Monday to Friday. Plus, there’s a shared 1:5 rotation for Saturday shifts – and best of all, there are absolutely no Out of Hours (OOH) duties! Usual shifts 8am - 5pm or 10am - 7pm. What you’ll be stepping into

Bridge Vets consists of four first-opinion small animal branches, alongside our sister practice, Aberdeen Veterinary Referrals. We are deeply committed to making our practice a happy and supportive workplace for our entire team, where you can flourish both professionally and personally. Our clinics are well-equipped with the latest veterinary technology, including ultrasound, digital main and dental x-ray machines, as well as in-house blood machines. One of our branches is dedicated solely to consulting, while the other three have multiple consulting rooms, theatres, x-ray facilities, and a separate prep area. We are always looking for ways to expand and upgrade our equipment, and we’re more than happy to invest in additional tools or resources to support your specialist interests. At Bridge Vets, you’ll be joining a team of 10 experienced vets, supported by 13 Registered Veterinary Nurses, as well as 10 dedicated student nurses and veterinary care assistants. We are proud to have an internal medicine certificate holder on staff, along with a vet who has a particular interest in exotics.
