Band 3F, circa £29,986 per annum pro-rata plus 33.5% shift allowance plus benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen in the ANPR Unit. The successful applicant will review and analyse National ANPR data to identify vehicles linked to crime and intelligence across the Force to make a direct impact on fighting crime and keeping people safe using ANPR technology and methodology to proactively identify vehicles whose occupants pose a threat to local communities and to deal with live ANPR incidents and provide the best possible vehicle intelligence picture across the Force. Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology is a critical law enforcement capability used to detect, deter and disrupt criminality at a local, regional and national level, including Organised Crime Groups, people traffickers, serious sexual offenders and terrorists. ANPR is also used to protect vulnerable people from harm.
