Credit Controller – Oak
Romford
What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join the team at Galliford Try within our Oak Fire Protection Business.
Ideally, you will be based in or around the Romford area.
Ensuring timely payments from customers
Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
Chase overdue payment promptly and persistently through phone calls, emails and letters
Use of Microsoft packages including Office and Excel
Data input into various Microsoft Excel documents
Use of Orbit Galliford Try System (training provided)
Document management including filing.
About You:
Previous experience in a construction-related Credit Control field
Ability to manage own ledger inclusive of experience in escalating aged debt to seek resolution
Ability to produce context-driven, succinct aged debtor reports for management review
Proven ability to reduce debtor days by developing relationships with clients using the telephone
Experience of Money Claim Online (MCOL) desired but not essential
High performing telephone skills which are used as a key tool to reduce debtor days
Time management expertise
Confident use of Microsoft Office skillset
Excellent attention to detail
