London: £37,281 or £38,602 (specialist pay band), Cheltenham and Central Manchester: £34,777 or £36,178 (specialist pay band) Job Description The finance team at MI5 plays a crucial role in managing the agency's internal spending. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for providing vital financial insights that inform decision-making across the agency. In Financial Analysis, you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure a consistent approach to financial advice and processes. You will also use your communication skills to explain complex financial concepts to colleagues and customers who may not be familiar with them. You may be involved in producing reports and completing analysis on them, offering financial advice, or ensuring purchase orders are actioned and requisitions are raised correctly. Additionally, you will play a key role in month and year-end processes, helping your colleagues across mission teams, enabling functions, and beyond to get their finances in order and meet requirements.
