Position Overview: My client is seeking a motivated

Junior Trader

with a minimum of 2 years of experience in trading or financial markets to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in executing trades, analyzing market trends, and managing risks while working closely with senior traders. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in a fast-paced and collaborative trading environment. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in executing trades across [asset class: equities, FX, derivatives, fixed income, etc.] in line with the firm’s strategy. • Monitor financial markets and trading positions to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. • Conduct research and quantitative analysis to support trading decisions. • Manage trade entry, reconciliation, and reporting processes efficiently. • Collaborate with senior traders to refine strategies and optimize execution. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global market events, economic news, and trading regulations. • Utilize trading platforms and tools to perform daily tasks and improve operational processes. • Assist in risk management by ensuring trades adhere to the firm’s policies. Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in trading, finance, or a similar role. • Proficiency in trading systems and financial tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, or equivalent platforms). • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen interest in financial markets. • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to fast-moving market conditions. • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. • Demonstrated knowledge of [specific markets/products relevant to the role, e.g., equities, FX, derivatives, etc.]. • A proactive, detail-oriented, and team-player mindset. Preferred Skills • Exposure to programming languages or tools like Python, Excel VBA, or SQL for data analysis. • Experience with risk management or PnL monitoring tools. • Certifications such as CFA Level I or Series licenses (if applicable).
