Our Client, a well-known Prestige / Volume Dealer Group, is seeking a Head of Aftersales in the Cambridgeshire area. With fantastic trading experience, our client offers a stable working environment with a strong reputation forged into the local community.

Our Client is seeking an individual to work closely with the Head of Business and achieve parts and service volumes and profit objectives through motivating and developing the aftersales teams to be fully competent in their job roles.

Duties of a Head of Aftersales with our Client

Achieve parts and service volumes and profit objectives through motivating and developing the aftersales teams to be fully competent in their job roles. Manage the sourcing and supply of manufacturer vehicle parts and monitor all service processes for our aftersales departments across 2 locations. Maintain standards of performance of the parts and service teams through effective coaching and performance management. Recruit and select team members in line with organisational requirements. Maintain customer service standards and ensure understanding and adherence to the requirements of customer satisfaction indicators within the business. Ensure sufficient resources are available to meet servicing requirements and regularly review key operating controls (labour efficiency, labour sales, cost of sales). Maximise commercial opportunities through developing and implementing campaigns within specific market sectors. Monitor and evaluate customer needs and competitor activity in the market, ensuring that marketing campaigns are relevant and targeted. Ensure all service processes meet brand standards requirements and that they are implemented in a consistent manner. Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring staff comply with Health and Safety requirements.

What our Client expects of their Head of Aftersales

Previous experience of implementing efficient aftersales and servicing processes within an automotive / vehicle retail operation. Ability to motivate and inspire teams to provide a first-class customer service experience. Strong understanding of technical issues and the ability to resolve queries professionally. Adaptable team player who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service. Organised and structured with the ability to plan and reprioritise fast and efficiently. Ability to think on your feet with a 'can do' attitude. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership and customer service skills. Pinnacle Experience is ideal. Full clean driving licence. Retail automotive service experience preferred.
