Location: Derby / Hybrid Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 + Bonus + Progression + Further Training + Great company culture + Pension Are you a Senior Embedded Engineer looking for an exciting position where you can produce high-end work in a niche sector working with some huge clients? In this role, you will: Develop firmware for real-time systems Design FPGA hardware using VHDL Write test procedures for new or modified software Collaborate with hardware engineers for software-hardware integration Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Provide technical support for embedded systems in production The ideal candidate will be an experienced Embedded Engineer able to program in embedded C, have knowledge of analogue and digital hardware, and experience with real-time embedded systems. You will ideally also have familiarity with software development tools like compilers, simulation tools, debuggers, IDEs, and experience with programming languages like Python, Visual R, and Rust. Experience with FPGA and VHDL is essential.
