Main Duties and Responsibilities As a Private Client Tax Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of private client tax returns that includes high-net-worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs, trusts, and estates. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary contact for all tax-related inquiries. Regular client meetings will be led by you, initially alongside the tax partner, to review tax positions and provide strategic guidance. General Responsibilities Tax Planning and Advisory:

Deliver comprehensive services encompassing inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and income tax. Identify tax-saving opportunities and develop strategies to optimise clients' tax positions. Advise clients on the implications of new tax legislation to ensure compliance with current regulations. Compliance:

Review personal tax returns, including those for trusts and estates, along with associated documentation. Ensure all tax filings are accurate and submitted punctually while liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients. Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development. Review their work to ensure accuracy and compliance. Business Development:

Identify opportunities to expand our client base and actively contribute to business development initiatives, including attending networking events and cultivating relationships with potential clients and referral sources. Candidate Profile 3 years experience in private client tax Record of managing own portfolio of high-net-worth clients In-depth knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements Ability to manage multiple clients and a varied workload Experience with advisory work Brook Street NMR is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
