Senior Estimator
Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a leading Ground Works specialist to recruit a Senior Estimator based near Leeds in the Castleford area.
Candidates will be tasked with pricing commercial groundworks packages from £50k up to £5m for a variety of sectors including education facilities, care homes, industrial sites, and security premises.
Will need to be a team player, great communicator with both clients and internal teams, have a great understanding of groundworks/civil engineering works, and always be professional.
Projects are nationwide, with some travel expected.
This vacancy has come about due to sustained company growth.
Role Responsibilities & Requirements:
Conduct pre-tender site visits Review inquiries & bid strategies Prepare and submit tenders, budgets, bills of quantities & project documentation Provide technical advice and maintain cost database Manage sub-contractor negotiations Review live project workload and costs Proven groundworks/civil engineering estimating experience Technical construction knowledge Strong communication skills Positive attitude & enthusiasm Candidates with proven UK civils experience will be given preference.
