Purpose of the Role
To support the Infrastructure division in all financial activities and to provide effective business partnering to commercial and operational stakeholders. Person Specification Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) The role requires top class attention to detail and the ability to deliver to deadline A clear and adaptable communicator Intermediate excel and Microsoft office skills Able to prioritise own workload to meet business needs Key Responsibilities Support the contract finance manager in completion of month end processes Production of daily, weekly or monthly reporting including cash flow forecasting Review of costs and creation of reallocation journals Reconciliation and clearance of contract balance sheet and cover accounts Business partner to the commercial team, accounts payable and purchase ledger teams Maintain and review system access to JD Edwards tools Daily review of integrity reports and correction of errors within ledgers Assist the finance manager in the production of annual forecasts Review and validation of subcontract payment runs Monitor and reconcile contract cash flows and post cash to the general ledger Perform supplier statement reconciliations and monitor aged purchase ledger Assist with purchase ledger and subcontract matching when volumes are high Clearance of internal, external and client audit queries Perform ad hoc duties as required by the SRSA Finance Managers What We Offer Competitive Salary 26 days Annual Leave Industry leading Life Assurance Healthcare Cash Plan Wellbeing Employee Assistant Programme Pension Scheme Eye Care Vouchers Long Service Award Season Ticket Loan Occupational Health Service
