About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our Logistics team, overseeing commercial activities across various sites, including Willesden Euroterminal and other London locations. In this role, you will manage the commercial and contractual functions of our Rail and Road Disposal Packages, working closely with Logistics and Asset Leads to ensure excellence in commercial performance. This role may involve leading a small commercial team or operating independently, depending on project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Manage the timely and accurate delivery of commercial notices and correspondence. Identify contractual risks and opportunities, advising the Contract Leader as needed. Prepare and agree on payment applications, assess payment certificates, and maintain detailed registers of variations and claims. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards. Support monthly progress valuations, cost forecasting, and report preparations. Liaise with customers and supply chain, facilitating clear communication and effective relationship management. Assist in procurement, tender negotiations, and finalisation of supply chain contracts. Implement cost control measures and monitor contract changes, keeping the project on track. Provide contractual advice to project teams, ensuring alignment with relevant construction contracts and regulations. Location:

Hybrid (3 days per week on-site) Requirements: Minimum 10 years of commercial experience in the construction industry with a proven track record. Strong financial and commercial skills, with a practical and methodical approach. Ability to set up and manage office systems, including document control. Excellent negotiation and team leadership skills, capable of building rapport with senior teams. RICS/CICES accredited degree and ideally nearing full membership. Demonstrable knowledge of legal, contractual, and construction matters, as well as experience with procurement and risk management.
