Head of Operations

Buckinghamshire, South East, United Kingdom Posted today Copello are working closely with a Defence Engineering business based in Buckinghamshire to secure a Head of Operations to manage all activities within Production, Planning, Procurement, and Quality. This is a key role for the business to continuously improve the operations strategy to meet the objectives and KPI’s for the business that is growing at a pace. Reporting to the VP, you will be responsible for developing and executing Operations Strategies, taking ownership and accountability for the Operations team's performance, and providing leadership and development opportunities. The Head of Operations will need to be data-driven and use analytic methods to analyze performance and support improvement in financial performance too. Suitable candidates will have experience in leading high-performing Operations teams and have experience in commercial and a working knowledge of business finance in order to link financial outcomes with operational actions. This position will be part of succession planning and can provide the opportunity to grow into a more senior role over time. Being an onsite role, this requires someone onsite 4 days a week, mostly with some flexibility where needed.
