3 Days Per Week - 22.12 Hours Compliance Officer - Job Share (3 days per week)

A challenging opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Trading Standards professional has arisen to undertake a range of Trading Standards functions.

Being part of a friendly, hardworking and supportive team, you will undertake a range of duties including:

Carrying out interventions into breaches of Trading Standards legislation Participating in the inspection of businesses to ensure compliance with Trading Standards legislation Recording statements of witnesses Taking responsibility for the processing of intelligence logs

You will have 5 GCSEs (A - C including English Language) or equivalent qualification and ideally will hold an Intelligence development qualification. You will also have experience in a Trading Standards role and understanding of the National Intelligence Model. This post requires you to demonstrate effective communication and negotiation skills and to be able to use tact and diplomacy when dealing with people, businesses, and other agencies. You will also have an ability to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
