Room Leader for Pre-School Unit
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Room Leader to oversee our pre-school unit, which consists of two rooms.
Desirable Skills:
Level 3 or higher Early Years Education qualification
Previous experience in a childcare environment (e.g., day nursery, after-school club, school)
Knowledge of OFSTED, EYFS, and other relevant childcare policies and programs
Understanding of safeguarding and the role of a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
Paediatric first aid certification
Food hygiene certification
Current Level 4 Safeguarding training certification
Job Responsibilities:
Lead a team of practitioners to provide outstanding care in the Pre-School Unit
Fostering positive relationships and supporting both the child and parents
Ensure paperwork within the rooms is completed accurately and efficiently
Promote the nursery to current and prospective parents
Lead and support your team in fulfilling their individual personal development plans
Position Details:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (4 day working week is also an option)
Starting Salary:
£29,952.00 For all Regents Park employees, an extra 0.30p per hour worked is paid, as a weighting payment, to recognise the location of the nursery. This is included within the Salary advertised * Subject to terms and conditions.
