We are seeking a Payroll Officer to join their team, offering an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking for a role that promotes work-life balance and flexibility.

Role Responsibilities

Process end-to-end payroll for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements. Ensure timely and accurate payments, including processing of overtime, bonuses, and deductions. Manage and resolve payroll-related queries from employees and external stakeholders. Prepare and submit payroll reports to senior management and the finance team. Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, including the filing of PAYE, NIC, and RTI submissions. Assist with year-end processes, including P60/P11D preparation. Maintain accurate records of employee benefits and pension contributions.

Person Specification

Previous experience in payroll, with a solid understanding of payroll systems and legislation. Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to resolve payroll queries effectively. Discreet and able to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner. A proactive approach, working independently and as part of a team.
