- LONDON or BIRMINGHAM - PERMANENT - £54,500 - £94,560
ARM are working with a major infrastructure company facing significant logistics challenges, including multisite operations and extensive vehicle movements managed by major contractors. We are seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all legal, contractual, process, and reporting aspects while leading your own team. This position can be based in either London or Birmingham, depending on your preference.
About You:
You will be a highly experienced, process-driven, and detail-focused manager. Your experience could include logistics contract management or health and safety within a logistics setting. You will have a proven track record of delivering process improvements, deploying strategies, and assessing data to build actionable trends. Experience in managing teams is essential. You will focus on building relationships, as process improvements will require influencing stakeholders outside your organization. A valid driving license is necessary, as some sites are not accessible via public transport.
What You Will Be Doing:
This position will involve overseeing over one million lorry movements and similar operations for smaller vehicles across a wide geographic area. All movements are controlled and reported with health and safety implications, providing advice to major contractors using trends and reporting to ensure all actions are mitigated and addressed. Your team will work closely with these contractors to ensure the company meets its objectives, and you will become the SME on all logistics-related matters for these movements. The role will involve site visits, and you may need to travel to the other office for meetings. Any travel to sites or travel to an office that is not your home office will be expensed.
Work Arrangement:
This position will be hybrid, requiring 2 days in the office/site and 3 days working from home.
What You Can Expect in Return:
Salary for this position will depend on location. The Birmingham salary range is between £54,500 to £81,780, and London is between £63,050 and £94,560, depending on experience and suitability for the role. In addition, you will receive an excellent range of benefits and a real opportunity for progression within the organization.
We can only consider applications from those eligible to work in the UK for this role.
