Corporate Solicitor Exeter A fantastic opportunity for an entrepreneurial and client-facing Corporate Solicitor to join a Top 100 UK heavyweight firm in the South West, based out of central Exeter offices. Dependent on experience, this role can be offered at either the Associate or Senior Associate level. My client is a large multi-office commercial firm with a refreshing and distinct brand that many firms can only aspire to. With a burgeoning corporate and commercial practice, the team is going from strength to strength and winning more clients across a variety of buoyant sectors. They are now looking to hire an experienced and motivated individual to bolster their thriving team. The ideal candidate should already be at the Associate level and likely to be working for a city practice. Alternatively, you'll be an experienced Corporate lawyer currently working with a good regional/national firm. You are likely to have some strong client relationships and contacts, some of which you will be able to bring to your new role. You will demonstrate strong commerciality in your way of working and a passion for business development that ensures you are always thinking a step ahead of your competitors. Working on behalf of a wide range of Private Equity and Corporate clients, you will deal with a diverse range of work including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, and MBOs. You can also expect to support clients with their Group Development, including designing and delivering bespoke acquisition and disposal programs, associated restructurings, and wider related work. This is a marvelous opportunity for a City lawyer looking to leave London and return to their roots, or for someone already locally based but seeking a change. Whatever the reason, you'll relish the opportunity to find out more about this ambitious commercial firm. With recent lateral hires, the firm is going from strength to strength across all its practice areas but has always commanded a real presence regarding its corporate department. The firm has undergone significant growth in recent years, and their strategy remains the same: high-quality lawyers delivering a premium service within a transparent and clear pathway for career progression. There is a highly competitive salary on offer together with an attractive benefits package and the option of flexible hybrid working.
