Job Purpose:
In this role you will conduct Safety and Quality Checks across a number of lines to ensure 'right 1st time', whilst adhering to all required standards, achieving targets on time and in full, in a safe manner, ensuring Food Safety and maintaining hygiene standards.
Main duties include:
Conducting safety and quality checks across a number of lines.
Ensuring weight checks are completed and are within specification tolerances.
Ensuring labels are verified and match the specification.
Ensuring gas checks are completed to specification standards.
Ensuring CCP checks are completed and the importance of a CCP within the manufacturing process is recognised by full line.
Championing right 1st time.
Conducting regular visual checks.
Completing line operation, product and process quality checks.
Completing paperwork accurately and at the time of checks.
Experience and key skills:
Previous manufacturing experience.
Successful completion or willingness to undertake training in L2 Food Safety and L2 Health and Safety Principles.
Forward-thinking and planning skills.
Reliable.
Ability to work within a team.
Attention to detail.
