Finance Analyst - Permanent - £36,000 - £42,500 - Central Edinburgh
I am pleased to be working with a well-established Financial Services business based in Edinburgh. This full-time role is offered on a hybrid basis with 2 days in the office as minimum and 3 at home.
Working in a large team and reporting to the Team Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and reporting on product activity on a daily basis. You will be an expert in your field and responsible for understanding and reporting on the financial activity of your ledger. This role is high pace/high volume - there's lots of opportunity to grow/develop within this role, but it is a big role.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Performing reconciliations, P&L reporting, Supporting with change initiatives, Preparing month-end accounting (journals preparation, reviews, account reconciliation) Investigate process/system issues, Support system testing. Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role where you have overseen some core management accounts functions and you have a good understanding of these functions.
If you are working towards a professional accountancy qualification, this will be beneficial but not essential. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skillset and join a big organisation with lots of further potential opportunity.
