The Opportunity As a Lending Operations Team Leader, you’ll guide a team of Lending Support Officers, ensuring the seamless and efficient handling of lending applications from start to finish. Work closely with brokers, solicitors, and valuation teams to ensure smooth application management and exceptional customer outcomes. Resolve escalations, investigate complex cases, and deliver solutions with professionalism. Identify and implement improvements to processes, driving efficiency and quality. Develop and motivate your team through coaching, training, and performance management. Collaborate across departments to support organizational growth and success. What You’ll Bring At least 2 years’ experience in lending operations, with strong leadership and team-building skills. A solid understanding of retail lending processes, particularly for owner-occupier and Buy-To-Let mortgages. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
