Office Angels are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller on behalf of a well–established and successful client in the professional services sector. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in the organisation's fee collection process, ensuring the smooth operation of this essential function. With your strong communication skills and attention to detail, you will be responsible for dealing with correspondence and telephone queries from associates and clients. You will also be involved in chasing payments through email, phone, and letter, as well as processing BACS payments when necessary. Previous credit control experience for this role would be highly desirable or candidates who have worked in a finance environment with exposure to credit control will also be considered. To excel in this role, you will need to be well–organised and possess excellent administrative skills. You will be an excellent communicator who is confident in dealing with customers over the phone and email/letter. Our client is dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive work environment. Chase payments via email, phone, and letter. Process BACS payments when necessary. Process letters and reminders generated by the fee collection workflow. Assist with the collection of complex and contentious debts. Chase fees in accordance with the organisation's current strategy. Liaise with Clerks regarding fee collection issues. Perform general admin duties as required by the Manager.
