THE OPPORTUNITY The Real Assets Investment Group provides clients with investment management services across the full spectrum of public and private real assets investments, including real estate, infrastructure, and natural resources. The Investment Director is an integral position within the Real Assets Investment Group, focusing on five primary responsibilities: Identifying, evaluating, and monitoring high-quality private investment managers. Sourcing and executing co-investment and secondary transactions. Researching and opining on real assets trends. Supporting colleagues and clients on sector-related matters and opportunities. Focusing primarily on Infrastructure and secondarily on European Real Estate. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead investment due diligence on opportunities, including analyzing a manager’s organization, investment strategy, performance, and terms. Complete written assessments and recommendations to support investment decisions. Source new investment opportunities by leveraging industry relationships. Monitor market trends and contribute to CA’s thought leadership. Actively monitor and evaluate managers on an ongoing basis. Present at internal meetings and marketing presentations. Serve as a resource to colleagues seeking current information on real assets investment opportunities. Work directly with clients building Real Asset portfolios. QUALIFICATIONS A BA/BS required. Demonstrable investment experience. Strong collaboration and work ethic. Demonstrated qualitative and quantitative analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Willingness and ability to travel. Demonstrated interest in real assets investing. Please submit cover letter and resume for consideration.
