As the Chief Commercial Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the executive leadership team, shaping the commercial strategy and driving the development of the product portfolio. Collaborating across teams, you will deliver market-leading solutions, identify growth opportunities, and ensure offerings align with customer and partner needs. In this product-driven environment, your responsibilities will include significant involvement in product design and testing. Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, a structured working style, a content-driven sales approach, and keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Identify and prioritise product features for the technology team. Monitor trends and collaborate with clients to uncover market opportunities. Support the Managing Director in team growth, strategy, and priority setting. Develop and refine sales materials with sales and customer success teams. Build client relationships and represent the firm at industry events. Oversee product development, testing, and feature launches with the technical team. Participate in testing and provide actionable feedback to improve user experience. Foster collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the team. Align product strategies with business goals in partnership with the Managing Director. Assist in sales efforts, leveraging product knowledge to attract and retain clients. Supervise Customer Success and Testing teams to ensure flawless delivery. Create and maintain documentation to support product development.

Experience

Extensive experience as a Chief Commercial Officer, Senior Business Development Manager, or in a comparable senior leadership role. Proven success in managing and scaling complex start-ups. Strong commercial acumen with a content-driven sales approach. Structured and organised working style. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Outstanding communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Proven capability to balance innovation with operational efficiency. Basic technical knowledge to effectively contribute to product development.
