Our hospital is recruiting for highly motivated and experienced Operating Department Practitioner/ Anaesthetic Nurses (ODP/AN) to join our high-performing theatre team. We are seeking qualified professionals with excellent and efficient anaesthetic skills. They must be able to lead a team of junior staff in liaison with the Band 7 managers. We would love you to join our friendly and dynamic theatre team at Croydon Elective & Emergency Surgical Centres within Croydon University Hospital.
Croydon Elective Centre consists of nine operating theatres, specialties include: Orthopaedics Urology Gynaecology General Colorectal Upper and Lower GI Breast Max-Fax ENT Paediatrics (ENT, Ortho, and General) Interviews:

Main duties of the job
Our Croydon Elective Centre (CEC) has been nationally recognised for our innovative practice and has been described as a 'blueprint' for theatre activity in the UK.
As a senior ODP/Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will be expected to assist our anaesthetists in safe care, not only in a theatre setting but outlying areas, such as: Interventional Radiology, X Ray, and Endoscopy suites Emergency Surgical Centre ED / Resus Obstetrics dept You should be competent, proactive, and flexible and have a keen eye for detail to maintain our excellent care standards.
