Rutherford Briant are recruiting for an Audit Director to work for a leading regional firm ranked in the top 50 with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional audit services to a diverse range of clients.

Position Overview: This firm is seeking an experienced and highly skilled professional to join their team as an Audit Director. As an Audit Director, you will play a critical role in leading and managing audit engagements, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients, managing a team of auditors, and providing strategic guidance to both clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of auditors, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements. Conduct risk assessments and develop appropriate audit plans. Review and evaluate internal controls, identifying areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices. Provide strategic guidance to clients, assisting them in achieving their financial objectives. Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional service. Collaborate with other departments to develop integrated and comprehensive solutions for clients.

Requirements: Professional certification such as ACA/ACCA. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in auditing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and best practices. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Proven track record of delivering high-quality audit services. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
