Description: To lead the technical recording team at Orfium responsible for all TV and Radio recording processes and tools. Working with the software engineers within the team to enhance the current tools and workflows to create a high reliability and monitored system. We are looking for talented people to join our team who are passionate about making a difference! Requirements Duties/Responsibilities: Maintenance of existing recording tools and infrastructure. Maintenance of existing monitoring tools. Design and Development: Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications. Collaboration: Work with product managers and other developers to ideate software solutions. Coding: Write clean, scalable code in multiple programming languages. Testing and Debugging: Identify and fix bugs; ensure the functionality and responsiveness of applications. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation. Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements. Agile Practices: Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and reviews. Skills: Proficiency in Python. Proficiency in C# beneficial. Familiar with Linux (tools, shell script). Knowledge of streaming services (RTMP, SRT, Kafka, FFMPEG). Experience of leading and mentoring a technical team. Familiarity with version control systems like Git and platforms such as GitHub. Experience: Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role. Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
